EXPLORATION MOMENT:

  1. A short part of Bruno's story will be reread. Children will be asked to close their eyes and imagine the scene.
  2. Then ask different students:
  • What other things do they think might happen to Bruno?
  • Where else could Bruno go?
  • Who could he help?

STRUCTURING MOMENT:

  1. They will make groups of three where each group thinks of a challenge or adventure that Bruno will face (for example, finding a magical object, saving a friend, or solving a mystery in the forest).
  2. Then they will draw a map or sketch of the adventure on a large sheet of paper. They should describe in pictures or words what Bruno looks like in his new adventure and where he is.
  3. Each group should fill out a sheet of paper with the “Beginning, Development and End” template and blank sheets of paper for drawings.

EXECUTION MOMENT:

  1. Each group will be given 20-30 minutes to draw and write their story.
  2. As the activity progresses, there will be brief pauses where each group should share in a few words what this activity generated in them and summarize one word of the story that they liked.

EVALUATION MOMENT:

  1. Each group will make a circle to share their story. They can choose to read it, tell it orally, or show their drawings as they tell it.
  2. Each group will be asked what they liked about the activity and what they learned about creating their own stories.
